The other night I got a text from someone I hadn’t heard from in YEARS. Fortunately the longest non-familial relationship I have in my life is my cell phone number which is a good thing because it lets your past catch up with you sometimes. Although I hope that it’s the good stuff from my past and not the stuff that I try so very hard to forget, like that one time I woke up naked on a park bench in Staten Island… but I digress.

My old director pal Ruben Mazzoleni shot me a text letting me know that a film we shot back in the early 2010s was now available on Amazon Prime!

See? That’s the kind of past we like catching up with! Unfortunately, all I remember about the day is that I drank like a gallon of milk; thank god for my body’s youthful tolerance to dairy!
